110 kV overhead power line Koronowo – Świekatowo and Świekatowo – Żur

Construction work carried out by #AltergaTeam on the Koronowo-Świekatowo overhead power line is steadily coming to an end. We have already installed the foundations and pole structures, and are currently finalizing work on the working cables and OPGW. In the coming days, we also expect to begin laying the 110 kV cable line connecting the GCP Koronowo with tubular pole no. 1 in the substation’s forecourt. We aim to complete the main work on the Koronowo-Świekatowo line by the end of August.

Simultaneously, we have already completed 72 of the 94 foundations on the 110 kV Świekatowo-Żur power line. We are currently carrying out foundation work during one-day power outages under the existing Żur-Tuchola line, which will be completely dismantled during the long-term outage planned for September. In its place, we will build a double-circuit section of the line, including the Żur-Tuchola current circuit and our newly constructed Świekatowo-Żur circuit. We are also installing pole structures on the overhead line, both in and out of the forest.
