Extension of 110 kV grid switchgear in Finland

Recently, our #AltergaTeam completed an intensive phase of installation work as part of the Nurmijarvi 110 kV grid switchgear extension project, in terms of primary and secondary circuits. During the work, we completed a number of tasks, including:

• assembly of upper terminals of pantograph disconnectors on three rail systems
• assembly of terminals for 110 kV equipment
• assembly of bay rails
• assembly of the protection cabinet of the connected entity
• completion of assembly of secondary cabling in the bay
• assembly of secondary cabling in protection cabinets and between them
• measurements of primary equipment

Our commissioning engineers also went to southern Finland to perform tests on the secondary side and full commissioning – completed on June 17 with voltage application.

The following are still left to complete this foreign project:
• voltage application in the AE15 field planned for October 2025
• formal closing of the entire investment
