Modernisation of the Halemba substation

In April, at the Halemba substation, as part of the stage I we carried out following tasks:
- disassembly of phase wires, lightning protection and ADSS together with fittings between pole No. 32 and 110 kV switchgear
- dismantling of the existing terminal pole
- erection of a new cable pole
In addition, we completed 6 cable head posts and a two-track cable line with ducting for the fibre optic cable. We have completed the work with voltage tests and connected the 110 kV power line. We are currently completing the construction of the service road leading to the new pole.
As part of the current phase, the #AltergaTeam demolished the compressor house building, carried out earthworks for the new process building and prepared the foundations.
Currently, our team is completing the reinforcement of the foundation slab in order to start the construction of the building and the parking stand for the autotransformer.
We are carrying out the work within an active 220 kV switchyard, right next to a 110 kV switchyard and a 110 kV power line, which poses quite an organisational and logistical challenge. Every day, we are ensuring safety and that the work is carried out according to plan.
Well done #AltergaTeam! Thank you for the great work!
