Opening of the modern substation 110/15 kV Borek Wielkopolski

We are proud to announce that on June 30, 2025, the official opening of the Borek Wielkopolski Main Supply Point (MSP)took place, owned and operated by Enea Operator S.A.
The event was attended by Enea Operator’s CEO, Marek Szymankiewicz, Wielkopolska’s Deputy Voivode, Jarosław Maciejewski, representatives of local authorities, Enea Operator employees, and representatives of the general contractor, Alterga S.A.
Within the project, a new 110/15 kV substation was built in Borek Wielkopolski, equipped with modern distribution and transformer infrastructure. The project was implemented by #AltergaTeam on a turnkey basis, and the scope of our work included:
- obtaining approvals to obtain valid building permits
- development of construction documentation and detailed designs
- construction of:
- over 14 km of 110 kV overhead-cable line between MSP Gostyń and MSP Borek Wlkp.
- a new bay at the active MSP Gostyń (including the introduction of a cable section of the 110 kV line)
- a new MSP Borek Wlkp. (a technology building equipped with, among other things: a 16-bay R15 kV substation, a battery bank, safety systems, transformer, reactor, control and protection cabinets, 110 kV overhead bays, and complete MSP infrastructure)
- over 7 kilometers of new MV cable lines
- new transformer container stations and the reconstruction of the existing
- over 14 km of 110 kV overhead-cable line between MSP Gostyń and MSP Borek Wlkp.
- reconstruction and cabling of 8 conflicting medium-voltage lines along the route of the newly constructed 110 kv line
- dismantling of over 2 km of medium-voltage overhead lines
- establishment of easements
- payment of compensation
- preparation of acceptance documentation
The investment contributed to improved power supply reliability, increased connection capacity, and significantly increased the region’s economic potential.
