Dismantling of the 220 kV Miłosna – Ostrołęka power line

We are proud to announce that #EltelNetworksTeam dismantled the power poles of the 220 kV Miłosna – Ostrołęka overhead line. We carried out dismantling works on a 35.9 km section, between stands no. 56A – 146. The entire power line, on which the old infrastructure had been operating for years, will be replaced by a new, double-track 400 kV Ostrołęka – Stanisławów line.

As part of our activities, we removed:

• working and ground wires
• insulator chains
• pole structures
• and excavated foundations at a total of 90 towers.

The line operated mainly on H52, Hx, Hy type lattice towers with porcelain insulators, 8-525 or 10-525 working conductors and one ground wire and one OPGW. Thanks to the excellent cooperation of our entire team, we managed to complete this stage of work in less than 3 months!
