Modernisation of the 220/110 kV Halemba substation
We ended last year with an important milestone in the modernisation of the 220/110 kV Halemba substation.
We completed and accepted the technological building, including full finishing and a complete set of internal installations – electrical, plumbing and ventilation. The facility is fully prepared for the next stages of the investment, paving the way for further implementation activities.
At the same time, #AltergaTeam carried out intensive work in the area of the AT2 transformer station:
- the foundation slab was concreted
- in January 2026, significant resources were allocated to reinforced concrete works
- approximately 80% of the foundations in the AT2 line field and on the 220 kV switchgear busbar connector were completed
- the walls of the basin at the AT2 station were completed
Another important stage was the dismantling of equipment, structures and foundations. Their efficient completion allowed new stages of work to begin and a smooth transition to the next phases of modernisation.
The entire project was carried out in demanding weather conditions, which posed additional organisational and technical challenges.
Thanks to the high level of commitment, good cooperation between all participants and effective coordination of the work, #AltergaTeam maintained the planned pace of work and achieved the key objectives of the project.
Well done #AltergaTeam!
