Study visit of the engineering design experts in Lebanon

In April, our design services team participated in a business trip to the capital city of Lebanon, where they held a series of meetings with a long-term client of Eltel Networks. During the meetings in Beirut, we discussed the progress of construction projects in Angola ending this year:

• the 400 kV Lauca-Bita overhead line
• two 220 kV overhead lines
• and expansion of the 400 kV Lauca substation

This is the first project in Angola, implemented by Eltel Networks Engineering SA since 2018, in which our company is responsible for the execution of executive projects in the above scope. The part designed by us has already been completed and we are currently waiting for the contractor to complete the work and prepare the as-built documentation.

In addition, the meeting was an opportunity to discuss further plans for international cooperation and implementation of new projects for the power industry in the world from a technical point of view.
