#DroneServices – installation of bird diverters in Latvia

Recently, Alterga has completed another interesting foreign order – this time in Latvia.

Our tasks included installing Firefly bird diverters on a newly constructed 330 kV overhead line in Latvia. International cooperation is always an interesting experience, especially when it involves the use of innovative solutions in the energy sector.

#EltelNetworksTeam, using a drone, efficiently installed 590 pieces of markers on the OPGW cable. Our solution is faster, more effective and, above all, safer compared to traditional methods of hanging bird diverters. We are glad that our efforts have been approved by the general investor and the power line contractor, which opens up new opportunities to use our services and solutions in this region.
